Joey Bansuelo has been teaching for 16 years, all in Montgomery ISD.

He is an alumni of Cedar Hill High School (class of 2001, first class of the new millenium!) and Midwestern State University.

Joey served as assistant director to Heather Orr at Montgomery High School from 2007-2014 and has been head director of choirs at Montgomery Junior High ever since.

Joey has also served in various churches in the greater Houston area as song leader, baritone/tenor choir member/soloist and choir director. 

Joey lives in Magnolia with his wife, Emily, their daughter, Aileeza, and their dog, Eva.

Joey is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association , Texas Choral Directors Association, and Texas Music Adjudicators Association.
